hi!! i'm Friday. i'm a fanfic author, mug collector, and podcast liker with too many hobbies and not enough free time. and instead of devoting said limited free time to my existing hobbies, i decided to learn a new one and code a whole freaking website. so here we are!
i made this site to have a corner of the internet that is fully my own; just a small, cozy space i can decorate however i like and indulge in my interests with abandon—just like the blanket forts of my childhood (hence the site title). growing up they were my safe place, where my family couldn't come in and see, where i could draw or write whatever i wanted with no one to judge me. they were where i carefully plugged in my headphones to watch Jacksepticeye's playthrough of Undertale and Daniel Howell's video Basically I'm Gay, and finally learned that it was okay to be queer. and while this space might not be as poignant or meaningful as those experiences were for me, it's certainly still a place to create and be myself. so come on in! i've got plenty of pillows to sit on, a bowl of fruit slices for a snack, and a big ol' blanket to shield us from the world. stay as long as you like <3
